I’m glad you stopped by. Let me to regale you with my advertising origin story, which started far away from the glitzy dinner parties of LA. Raised in the snowy prairies of Canada, my parents groomed me with aspirations of becoming a certified accountant. You can imagine their disappointment as I pivoted into the big world of advertising and cut my teeth at notable agencies like Ogilvy, Grey, and zig (which became CP+B Canada). My life was filled with late-night poutine and universal healthcare. But then I answered the call of LA-based agency RPA to oversee national and regional projects for Honda and other brands. There, I had the privilege of applying my 18 years of semi-obsessive compulsive creative problem solving experience. Last year, I hopped over to New York to help a data-driven start-up agency build out a small but mighty full service creative department. Now I'm back on the west coast guiding and shaping creative for luxury automaker, Genesis. When I'm not helping launch a new vehicle or the masterbrand for a crypto company, I'm deeply involved in developing DEI initiatives and nurturing young creative talent. I am deeply passionate about the many different facets of advertising today. So let's talk some more.


TL;DR:
• built out and onboarded a net new creative department of cross disciplinary creatives.
• managed a team of 12 creatives across 3 brands.
• oversaw the creative development of a global Olympics social campaign for Meta.
• helmed numerous vehicle launches for Honda, including their national HR-V and Civic campaigns.
• developed the very first VR and AR campaigns for Honda.
• implemented a variety of agency DEI initiatives, including an “Allyship at Work” playbook, Pride Zoom backgrounds, speaking and moderating various panel discussions, active involvement in two ERGs, and spoke at the 2021 3% Conference.
